Selected items stay highlighted after going back

Shouldn’t the row highlight clear immediately when returning to the previous screen, matching standard iOS list behaviour seen in apps like Mail (where the selected state is typically a subtle gray)? The selected item stays highlighted for a brief time after navigating back, then clears/fades out later, which makes the UI feel slightly off.

This is more traditional iOS behavior — it’s like how earlier versions (going back to the original) worked. We like it because it adds some more context: you know where you just were.
