The GoodLinks app has this feature where you can authenticate on sites with a subscription or paywall. For example I can log into my nytimes subscription and access the full content of articles rendered in the app. Is this something NNW would consider? I’d love to see the full article content rendered in the app versus loading the full html page in a browser.

Maybe eventually, but what I mostly do is find way to make NetNewsWire more and more private and anti-surveillance, which fights against that kind of thing.

That’s not to say it’s impossible, just that it would be a bit of work. (You’d want the user to be explicit about which domains are treated this way, which would mean more UI, for instance.)
